One of the coils died after a month.

2005 Deville V8 engine.
I installed this coil pack near the firewall to match the one I installed on the front of the engine a year ago.
The back side of this engine is a bugger to get at the sparkplugs and the coil pack. GM could have done this better. Guess they don’t care about servicing engines anymore. Who in their right mind would design an engine to have 2 threaded nuts that you have to use a mirror to see them behind the engine.? That is to remove some pollution valve. I guess we won’t have to worry about that anymore as long as bidon keeps up his stupid electric car campaign. Guess the next cars will be peddle power as we go backwards in technology. The coil pack did the job in the end.

Best coil pack for the price! Perfect fit. Daily driver…runs like new!

Replaced on a 2005 Cadillac Deville DTS. One coil went bad so I replaced the whole set on one side.
Jeff –
Arrived on time. Even though it needed to be installed on the firewall, it fit exact and the car runs smooth again.

This is the second time I installed one of these in the 2005 Cadillac DeVille. The first was for the front coil pack and now for the rear coil pack. The front one was a piece of cake. But due to Cadillac intentionally making the rear pack incredibly difficult to install it took parts of 3 days and I gave up several times along the way. Perseverance paid off and I was successful. The part was correct and finally slid into place and the car ran perfectly afterward.

love this new coil pack now im back to smooth running again, i was worried before i got this my car runs like hammer drill! i got multiple misfire then stay on cylinder 5, i didn’t buy this yet cause i got the old one that is so expensive the white top coil pack so i was not sure if this will fit, but ive read some comments here about the same car they got on me which really helped me decided to get this one and now im happy i highly recommended this part! i also change all my spark plugs so now run smoothly, so i got a Cadillac SRX 2004 V8 4.6L so if someone have same problem misfire that got same car model i do get this one i recommend it

These replace the whole rail of ignition coils, you have to have these already installed for one of the aftermarket coils to work. A single after market coil will not work with an OEM ignition coil rail. I learned this the hard way. With that all said these work geeat.
