- Cut an 85mm (3 3/8″) hole in the panel and allow a clearance of 70mm (2 3/4”) behind the panel to fit the gauge. Put the gauge in the hole. Using M4 nut and C type bracket to seal up the gauge.
- For the GPS antenna, you should securely fasten it in the flat position, black side upwards, preferably outside (or inside front windscreen) so that it has a clear view of the sky to pick up satellite signal. Connect the antenna cable to socket in the back of the gauge. And do not cut cable.
- It shows Current Speed, TRIP/COG(choose one), ODO(cannot be reset). If you need other color faceplate, pls. search for ASIN B07KNR2ZFT or B07KNR7NR7

Very impressed with this unit. Replaced the factory unit on our boat with this one. Fit perfectly and gives a great, accurate reading.

I purchased this for an old motorcycle that was originally equipped with a Smith’s “Chronometric” type. These older speedometers are effectively unobtainable (and never worked that reliably even back in the day) so I’ve been looking around for a replacement that was the right size and general appearance. I’ve been unsuccessful up to now — cable driven units rarely have a cable and gear ratio that fits, electric ones require magnets on the wheel, there really wasn’t anything out there. Then this turned up. Its the right size and the right shape for the machine and — to my surprise — it works reliably with a stable readout and no problems with lost GPS signal. I’ve only given it four stars because you have to improvise a mount (although an ABS pipe cap from the local hardware store does the job well its not perfect) and its geared to a negative earth system, leaving potential problems with shorting, but nothing that can’t be overcome by someone who owns an old machine. The meter comes with an external antenna that’s attached by a lot of thin coaxial cable, abut 12 feet (4 meters), so its easy to route the cable away from ignition systems and other potential interference sources. (I placed my antenna on the tail lamp mount where it always has a clear view of the sky).
(PS — One minor improvement would be to the LCD display. This shows things like trip and odometer but this being a GPS unit it should be able to optionally display latitude and longtitude.)

Replaced junk water pressure based speedo with this. After using 30 miles I can say this is one of the best things I have ever bought for my boat. Boat top speed is 30 so I can see the exact speed. It works great, gps connects in seconds. The trip function and total miles is not something I thought I would use but love it now that I have it. I can calculate fuel burn and see exact distance on water between points. This is just a great device, well built and looks great installed. Well worth the money.

Purchased for a bicycle. Professionally installed. Worked for a 15 minute ride, then blinked off and back on and wouldn’t keep speed. Worked less time each trip and finally just say c45094. Zero support documents. When you buy cheap stuff usually I don’t expect the world but it’s a waste if there is any vibration.

I purchased this GPS Speedometer to install in my old 1962 Chevy C-10 classic truck. I have a newer conversion transmission installed with no speedometer gears and I really wanted a working speedometer, especially with an odometer and trip meter to monitor oil changes and gas mileage. This little inexpensive GPS driven speedometer is perfect! Installation was simple and painless, it has a numerous back lighting color options and best of all, working odometer with two trip meters! The odometer stores mileage even when battery gets disconnected, as does one of the two trip meters…perfect. If you look at my pics you can see the simple little receiver that I just laid up in corner of dash with some double sided tape, its small enough to hardly even notice it and reception is great.

The other cheaply built one I bought failed within a few miles. Amazon service was fantastic. I chose this Eling because I liked the traditional look and simple, direct hookup. Wired it hot into my headlight switch on my 1951 IHC bus and hooked the backlight into the parklight lug on the switch. Ground to a screw under the dash. The pickup lead is like a mini coax cable that firmly threads to the speedo unit. Very simple for me to install as I just used a dryer vent sized hose clamp to secure it to my steering column. I like the way it’s built. There are 2 buttons on the back for setting the color of light and the miles function. I have it set to trip and odometer. The trip gives your distance in miles and 10ths and odo rounded miles. I completely cut power to it by switching off my master cutoff switch and it still kept the trip and miles stored and they appeared when power was restored. Good! To reset the trip meter you press the button on the BACK of the speedo. Keep that in mind. This is well made and works well. Odo and speed are accurate. You could use this ruggedly built unit on just about anything. So far I’ve only gone exactly 9.3 miles as a test but I could not be more satisfied. This is the one you want for old hot rods or bikes or whatever. It seems tough and well sealed against moisture as well. I’m going to get another one soon for my Harley 72 XLCH.

I purchased this GPS speedometer for my new Bass Tracker. Works as I was expecting. Easy to install and setup. Looks great in my boat’s dashboard.

Fit perfect, was easy to install and works like a charm.

I installed this on a 2021 Polaris 170 RZR. Works great!. I did not connect the power lead to the battery as instructed, I was concerned with battery drain. I connected the red power and orange power wires together, then tied into the brown power wire from the ignition. It will still calculate accumulated mileage, it just resets the trip mileage automatically when you turn the key on and off. The speedo works flawlessly, seems to be waterproof and is very accurate. You will need an 85 MM whole saw to install this.

What can I say? It works awesomely. I wired it to a cigarette plug and plug it into a cigarette outlet in my truck. It works like a charm. I just wired the two positive leads together to the positive from the cigarette plug and the black to the black. Super nice.
Love that you can change the light color. I prefer to keep it on red to preserve my night vision. It’s really good and takes anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute to connect to GPS. I have the GPS antenna inside my glove box and it still works. I’m sure there are lots of places to put it. I put it far away from me so I maybe get less radio radiation (if that matters).
It’s amazing, get it if you need it. It works, and you won’t be disappointed.
I mounted it to my steering column with this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00062YWNI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
plus a hose clamp. I couldn’t be happier with it.
