I have a 1998 Dodge Ram, On gravel and the. highway was worse, the truck wondered from side to side. I was going to replace the gear box because I noticed the gear or bearing at the end of the gear box moved a little when the steering wheel was turned. But then I read about these gear box stabilizers. Glad I did. This stabilizer bar and bearing took care of my problem. Fairly easy to bolt on. Good heavy quality steel. Very pleased. Saved myself a lot of money and time. Truck drives very nice and straight. No more wondering.

I’ve installed 3 of these from various retailers.
All have required slotting of the factory bearing plate holes to make them fit.
This one required bending the bearing plate down a little to get it off of the steering box pilot.
Just be aware of this when you buy because they don’t just bolt on.
BUT they are good for the price.

Product arrived quickly and as described. Had adequate instructions for assembly and assembly went smoothly and it fit well. All of the parts seem to be quality and the welds are good. Seems to have significantly helped my steering slop, definitely recommend this product.

Adds some peace of mind and braces up the frame and steering. I also deleted the sway bar at the same time (stock height) Really easy to install. Can’t go wrong for the price, not sure if it would be worth it to pay $200 for the non-chinese version.
