I have a 12-year-old Echo leaf blower that was getting hard to start and not running as well as it used to. I first tried a “compatible” cheap carb which lasted me just a few months before it started giving me issues. I figured I’d try going with this OEM carb for my PB-250 and it is great! Replacement is so easy and my blower starts right up. I guess spending the extra money for OEM is worth it. Some of those “compatible” non-Walbro carbs seem to work for other people; it didn’t work for me. Sticking with Walbro in the future.

Installed this brand new carburetor and it worked perfectly. I was a bit nervous about the way it was packaged (cardboard not corrugated box inside a plastic bag) it arrived in a crushed box. Fortunately there was no damage to the part so everything worked out fine. Since the carburetor I was replacing couldn’t be serviced by me due to EPA sticking it’s nose into our lives, this was my only option. I’m glad it worked out.

Just installed on PB-210 Echo blower and was holding my breath when starting it. Runs like brand new. I had done everything else tune-up wise and had tried cleaning the old carb, but it just wouldn’t stay running at an idle. I had adjusted the old idle to as high as it would go and still it would die at an idle. I was one of those people who griped about not being able to adjust the carb without their special tool, but as one person pointed out one time (and it makes sense), you shouldn’t have to adjust it because it’s not like anything causes it to get out of adjustment. It is that crap gasoline fouling out the jet(s). I am going try soaking the old carb in solvent just for the heck of it and hanging onto it for later use maybe.

After checking with 2 different local Echo small engine repair facilities on how expensive it would be to replace/repair the PB-250 (WTA-33) carburetor, I decided to try it myself. I can concur with other reviews I had read before the purchase, that the removal and installation of the new Echo WTA-33 was very easy, both removal and installation. It did not come with a new Intake gasket (part # V103000550), but mine was still in good shape & worked fine. I also discovered from a friend that part of my problem may be a result of the ethanol contained in the unleaded gas I use to fuel my PB-250 and other small engine yard tools. He referred me to a recent article in Popular Mechanics that discussed in detail all the problems occurring in small 2 cycle engines as a result of the ethanol buildup in the carburetor. He gave me a gallon of regular-leaded fuel to use in the newly mounted carburetor. He said he purchased all his leaded fuel from a local John Deere. It was a little more expensive, but has been worth the difference, as he has seen much better performance and less problems with all of his 2 cycle engines. I also replaced the small fuel filter (part #A369000480) which was saturated with the unleaded fuel. My PB-250 runs like a brand new one now.

It is an OEM replacement carburetor or 2010 Echo PB-250 handheld leaf blower. Did not come with any gaskets for anything else. Also ridiculously overpriced compared to the aftermarket brands but it fit perfect and fixed my old blower
