Karen A Beaudoin –
Put in a 04 Volvo XC70 fits great works great hope it’s good quality and lasts awhile but it’s sold now anyway so who cares “am I right”
Dan Spencer –
it worked and wasn’t too difficult to replace. Turns out it was both front and rear left wheel bearings do had to do it twice.
Happy Camper –
Great price but one is already failing after a year and a half. About 30k miles on them.
Good enough for a car you dont expect to still drive in a year or two.
Kyle –
Replaced both front bearings on my 2006 volvo s80 fwd.
Job was actually surprisingly easy. This kit only comes with the wheel bearings and that is literally it. You’ll need a few extra things though if you want to do it right.
You’ll need blue and red threadlock glue for a few of the brake assembly bolts and set bolts. And in my case I needed 8mm, 10,12,13,14,15,17,18, and 19mm sockets. Also theres a plastic dust cover that goes between the cvjoint and the wheel bearing that I saw in a YouTube video that another manufacturer included along with 4 new large bolts that hold the hub to the assembly that this kit doesn’t include, my dust caps were pretty worn but I cleaned them as best as I could and just put them back.
Notes about the bearings themselves, they are very stiff when you first rotate them out of the box but once installed do have a seemingly smoother feel to them and much quieter than the ones being removed that had about 132k miles on them before the passenger side started grinding a month ago or so.
Also make sure to clean everything very well and inspect your steering boots and another seals and rubber covers for tears or leaks and do your brakes if needed cause you basically have to do all that work anyway haha
Kyle –
installed hubs, abs system has been restored, safety of my passengers has been restored
Chris Marston –
Seamless replacement of my original hubs on my ’01 V70 T5. Arrived within time expected.
Great price AND a great product. Thank you!!
Alan Darrah –
Didn’t last a whole year. Wheel bearings should be good for a 80-100k. Don’t trust your life with these. You get what you pay for. Go with timken bearings.
Jack Adams –
Great fit, worked as expected, not a hard job. For this replacement you may need dust covers between the axle and bearing that aren’t included.
