I have ordered this set of coils twice now.
The first time was about 50k miles ago when I first bought the truck, and had a mechanic do the spark plug change. I couldnt shell out the money for Motorcraft at the time but really needed the plugs done (it had spit one out on me) and I wanted my mechanic to check it out in in case of a damaged thread in the head.
Well I ran those things for 40k miles with absolutely no issues at all, and against my better judgement I went with a different brand when I replaced them 10k miles ago. Started misfiring and generally had low power, etc.
So I got tired of the other brand and decided I will go with these again, and let me tell you what… WOW. My truck feels like a truck again. I am meticulous about maintenance as much as my budget allows and It was upsetting when the truck ran poorly. But after a long day of replacing the other brand with these (had to pull the intake manifold because I had issues with stuck boots on 4 and 8) I am here to say it was well worth the time and effort.
Now with these remember:
1. Dielectric grease, I put it around the opening at the bottom, a little on the boot above the opening (keep it from getting stuck in the head) some at the ridge that seals off the spark plug well, and some at the part where the coil and boot meet. I do this to keep water and dirt completely out and to lubricate for removal in the future
2. The springs on mine were definitely smaller in diameter than previous coils, has not been an issue and it appears they expand over time and seat themselves on the plug without any issue.
3. I recommend not running these past 50k miles if youre able to change them yourself. They’re not Motorcraft and they’re inexpensive, I see no reason to wear them out to the point of failure at this price, and also because its a good opportunity to retorque the plugs on these modular motors (I did 23-28ft-lbs dry which is the revised torque vs factory) and avoid a plug shooting out, which leads to a costly repair ($250 for the Calvan kit and I did it myself, more if a shop does it for you)
All in all I will continue to purchase these coils unless I decide to buy Motorcraft and would recommend these to anyone.

Product isn’t the correct fit for out truck and we are having trouble returning. We entered our truck specifics before Ordering and it said the coils would fit our truck but they just don’t. Arrived in a timely fashion though we can’t use them.

At first I was skeptical about these coil packs. In the past when one fails I have replaced it with one from an auto part store at the tune of about $30 each. Seeing as how my 2000 F-150 4.6L has been running a little rough lately I decided to pull the trigger on these, I figured what is there to lose? Well, lets just say that I am really patting myself on the back for this purchase. These coils made a night and day difference on my truck, I swear I gained about 30 HP from the old ones that were in it, and it runs better than it ever has in the last 8 years of ownership. Now, I’m sure that if I had replaced them with all auto part store packs I would have had similar results, but it would have cost me around $200 to do that, and even buying them online elsewhere I was looking at about $100. These coils look great, identical to what is pictured and function perfectly, they even came with grease already in the ends of the springs. In fact, compared to the one Motorcraft coil that was still in my engine, they were a perfect match. I only just installed them, so no word yet on the durability of them, but with they way it is running now I can’t imagine they will give trouble for years to come. On top of all of this, I got them for $40 with Prime 2 day shipping, bought them on Sunday and they were waiting for me when I got home from work on Monday. This deal can’t be beat, If you’re thinking about replacing your coils and are wary of the quality of these Chinese coils, don’t be afraid, just do it. I will certainly look at ECCPP in the future for my other cars equipped with COP’s.
Happy motoring!

Easy to install except for 1) had to use the old boots
2) had to use the old coils
closest to the fire wall because the wiring was too short to connect.

Update 3/15/2017
ECCPP offered to send me a free set of these coils after I returned my last ones for the reasons below to test them out and give them a chance. I took some pictures this time so I could show the difference. The all black coil is the failed OE coil from Ford. The white and gray is from Autozone and the Black and Grey is from O’Reilly Auto Parts. I had recently replaced 2 coils with 2 different aftermarkets and they were working perfectly but a few more went out so these seems like the perfect chance to review these. Although they still don’t address the issue of the boot springs being too small to fit over the spark plug tip which is very obvious in the picture, they are the 2nd from the left, they appeared to install OK. Since the spring doesn’t fit over the plug they do have a little bounce-back when trying to place them in and don’t fully seat until you tighten them down with the bolt. The connectors seems to fit just fine and lock into place like they should. All-in-all for the price you definitely can’t go wrong with them. I will update this down the road (set a reminder in my phone calendar) and remove them in 6 months to see how they are holding up to the heat and stress.
————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
As others have stated the springs will not fit over the plug tip correctly, you can still install them and they will work fine for a while but this will cause the spring to melt eventually. Will be sending these back and going with OEM.
