good quality u-joint. using it in my solid steering shaft for my 02 mustang. as far as I know this should be the right size for sn95 / new edge mustang steering shafts to replace that old rubber rag joint

I gather these units are designed for steering wheel use, but I got this as a way to handle odd angles in the actuators for a motion simulator I am building. It is just the right size – bigger than the u-joints used with socket wrenches, and smaller than the driveshaft type that would be overkill in my application. Will be getting a few more of these.

So, this was SUPER tight on the 3/4-36 spline connection and required a bit more hammer than I would have liked. Measured the major diameter at about 0.730.

One half moves easily, the other takes alot of force to move. Not what I would expect.
