EX Celica Pro Celebrity race car for track days. I have been using Hawk Plus pads on my track Miata for 5 years now and love the bite and feel of the pads. with the Celica I could not get Hawk HP plus pads for the back as they are discontinued so thought I would try these for a change. They are not much better than a street spirited driving pad. Maybe comp to a Hawk HPS pad but definitely no where near the bite and ability of the HP plus pads so straight away I bit the bullet and replaced the fronts with Hawk HP plus and what a difference in braking for the corners on the track (laguna seca and Buttonwillow).
I am sure these are great for some cars or drivers and maybe good for a street replacement but for me and the track, garbage! I did leave the ones on the back axle as I did not want the back to rotate too early on the corner, it seems OK.

Great pads for the price. I ran them on my tC down the dragon and they performed much better than the stock pads. I was still able to cook them by the end but much better than stock.
