After looking at disc replacements for some time, I could have bought from Acura for $100 each side. But since the disc’s seemed to have started to shudder after getting hot each time you drive it, I decided I would see what other options were out there. I could have gone the vented drilled disc route, but decided it was more than I needed. I found these with no reviews, so I was a bit reserved. I checked other sites for reviews, and found positive feedback for other vehicle sizes, so I ordered them.
They arrived much quicker than anticipated, $166 for a set, so cheaper than OEM, and free shipping. Packaging was great.
The rotors seem just as heavy as the OEM, I did not weigh them with a scale, but felt them in each hand against OEM, and very similar.
They arrive with a black paint all over them, but the instuctions say they will wear off quickly to show as the pictured product.
After getting my old rotors off, and what fun was that with the stripped retaining screws, these went on beautifully. The holes for retaining screws, and push off holes lined up perfectly to the OEM’s.
The drive test: At first I was a bit concerned about this black paint, so I drove only short distances low speeds to run a few errands. About 5 miles total. When applying the brakes to a gradual slow stop, they work as smooth as if the car was brand new. But when you come to that perfect stop, there is a hard shudder as the discs come to a complete stop. This was at first concerning, so I took a look at the discs when I got to my destination, and could see that most of the paint had been worn off where the pads grip the disc.
By the time I got home, the shudder had stopped which I would relate to the paint being completely removed. Again, a total of 5 miles. Next day, took for another trip, and they worked perfectly.
I am very happy with these, they feel very smooth, and the grooves will keep my pads clean which I think was part of the problem with my old disc’s.
Don’t forget to allow 300-400 miles to break in new discs!

Installed a set of these rotors on the front of my 2002 Acura CL and they have been great so far. I’ve only put a few hundred miles on them, but they are quiet and the slots seem to help pad bite. I chose these rotors because the slots continue to the edge of the rotors, helping removed dust and water from the pad’s contact area fully. I haven’t had time to test longevity of the rotor in terms of warping, but I will update when they need resurfacing (hopefully no time soon) as I am hard in brakes.
Note: These rotors have seemed to aid in my issue of certain aramid brake pads having weak stopping power initially when wet and cold. If you are having a similar problem I would recommend these rotors.

no complaints!

Delivery was great. But when I opened the box the rotors were dirty and scratched up. The dirt I took off with brake cleaner spray. But the scratches could affect the long term reliability and performance of the rotors.

Perfect fit – as expected from EBC! Smooth, controlled braking with lots of stopping power when you really press on the brakes.

I have been using EBC on my cars for years and always liked their stopping power and light dust but when I purchased my latest car I decided to try out the rotors. Big mistake! So far I have had to turn them three times in a six month period because of warping. I have taken my car to the dealer and another ASE shop and they both are telling me that it’s the rotors. Now I have to buy new rotors and EBC told me to get bend because I didn’t have them installed at the dealer. So in my opinion, if your going to go with EBC just buy the pads.
I with I had more hands so I could give these rotors four thumbs down.

This brake rotors is the best I have seen. My vehicle is now in great braking condition. I really like this rotors. It comes in pair so when you purchase it, you will get 2 for left and right.

An excellent upgrade from the inadequate factory or OEM front brake rotors which ended up being badly warped causing safety hazard on our 2004 Honda Odyssey. Apparently, a very common issue on the Odyssey’s which share some of the same components as Honda Accord. The EBC rotors look great even after 3 years of minivan, soccer-mom driving 3 kids around town. They work great with the OEM (Honda) brake pads.
