Can’t say how the brakes actually work. I ordered for my 1992 4runner 4×4 and they didn’t fit my brake calibers.

So far, so good. Successfully installed on my 2001 4runner(6 lug) the surface area looks a bit smaller but that’s probably the break in part of the pad. I do understand these are performance parts and are not meant to last forever but if anything bad happens I’ll update

Inside brake pad indicator sticks out too far and will not seat correctly. Will need to be modified to fit correctly.

I’ve ran EBC for years on all my vehicles, their quality and durability are second to none! The break in compound is great, especially if you’re just replacing the pads and not doing a full rotor & pad replacement. They do produce some brake dust, but that should be expected.

Best value and performing 4×4 brake pad – 3rd se of these, running these and the 6807 on a KZN130 and a RZN185. No fade on the longest steep hills (I also use cadence braking), and I’m a spritied driver in general with lots of previous circuit experience and track days. For a 4×4 on the road these are fantastic on the 4runner/Hilux surf. Also helps reduce the woodennes of the Toyota middle (or left) pedal when combined with nice clean Dot4. Also wear really well, surprisingly.

I’ve installed these pads on 4 separate vehicles so I definitely like them for value and stopping power. Wear and life seems comparable to OEM on the vehicles I have used them on but holy smokes do they create a ton of brake dust. Luckily I like washing my cars. If you’re not a fan of cleaning your wheels you might want to stay away.
