These are replacing Yellow Stuff brakes which were louder and dustier. These seem to work almost as well as the yellows and seem to have less noise and a little less dust. Still a dirty brake pad though compared to ceramics or others like that. I will probably stick with greens in the future nad not go with yellows.

I loved my green EBC pads so much that I put them on all of my cars. My last pair wore out at about 35k miles but I run 38″ tires on a fully loaded 4dr Jeep wrangler. And I live in the city, so that many miles was surprising to me. The youtube Jeep channels talked me into getting the brand that starts with P Stop (with out giving out the full name) for my current pads. With new slotted rotors the P Stop brakes only work half as good as these EBC’s with non slotted rotors. I’ve only put 3k miles on the P Stop pads and I’m ready to go back to EBC pads. Don’t be cheap and buy junk, spend the money and get these, you will thank me.

Not bad, smell a bit

Excellent brakes. Increased stopping power and reduced braking distance on my 5K plus Jeep Wrangler. Break-in coating makes bedding the brakes super easy. If I could give a detractor, they create a bit more brake dust than I would like. Other than that, A+ brakes!

these are my second order of these pads they might wear faster than some pads but they give great stopping power compared to the stock pads on the wrangler and thats what they are suppose to do also they do not wear the rotors down like other pads I will buy these again when time comes

Stops much better than stock on my Jeep but they do create a lot of dust and a little noise every now and then

I have used EBC brakes on my sport bikes before and LOVED them so when it came time to change the brakes on my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK, I figured I would try them on my Jeep.
First off, let me say that if you own a JK, keep your eyes on your rear pads! At 53,000 miles I was down to 2.5mm of pad material in the rear while my front brake pads were still sitting at 6.2-6.8mm. I have other friends with JKs and they had the same issue, the rear pads wear over twice as fast when compared to the front.
I was torn between the EBC Green Stuff, Yellow Stuff, and Hawk LTS pads. I did a lot of research (mostly to talk me out of the EBCs) but decided to try them based on prior motorcycle experience. I opted for the Green Stuff pads because while I typically drive very hard, possibly even a bit quicker than normal, I realized that a race pad would probably be a bit overkill. Especially on a Jeep that struggles to break 80 mph. Maybe when I change my BMW pads. I decided to mate them with Power Slot disks front and rear.
The performance was immediately noticeable, infinitely better than OEM. I was cautious to follow proper break in procedures, which is made easier by EBC coating the surface of the pad with abrasive material to guarantee proper, even break in. At around 200 miles I did get a little squeaking but it was mild and only during light brake pressure. It has since disappeared. Even during break in, the pads grip hard! Now that they are broken in, the brakes are even better than expected. I am sure the Power Slots are also responsible for the increased performance but I often find myself over braking as there is no fade. Basically, I am having to relearn the amount of brake pressure required because they grab very well and are exceptionally consistent. I have not experienced even the slightest amount of fade, even under very hard braking from 85ish mph (of course, on a closed circuit!) with 35 inch tires.
As for the quality factor, it is obvious that EBC puts a lot of pride into their product. Even the pretty green paint they paint the metal with shows quality workmanship and they even included copperized anti-seize (with the front brakes).
In all, I am exceptionally satisfied with my purchase and will forever use them again on the Jeep. I am sure the Hawks are great as well but you will definitely not be upset if you decide to go with the Green Stuff pads. Trust me, you will love them!

I install the yellow stuff pads and power stop rotors on my 2009 jeep. I only got 15k or less out of them hopefully the pads I installed this time will last longer.

Great buy

Purchased as a replacement to the stock brake pads for my Jeep Wrangler. My Jeep is a lot heavier than stock due to aftermarket bumpers, winch, etc. These brake pads still made an improvement in braking power and have lasted for several years so far. No noise at all. I have around 20k miles on them and the fronts are still good. Rears are getting low and will need to be replaced soon. The Jeep has a rear braking bias so this is to be expected.
