These worried me at first. I followed the break in instructions pretty much to the tee; heat up, cool a bit, speed up slow down, speed up slow down etc. By the time I got to the final break-in sequence, they were fading bad from heat. Let these cool off at the grocery store then took the trip home, evidently they seated on my unturned dilled and slotted rotors just fine. These have been working great ever since. The bite and feel is excellent. I am not worried so much about durability as I am performance, so I will leave that to others to comment on. I am sold on the performance of these and will be putting them on the other car soon.

We have a 2006 Honda pilot. Pads installed as expected and broke in easily. When I was testing them they could easily apply enough friction to get the ABS to engage under hard braking. I think they felt better than the factory brakes. The initial grip was slightly better and they seem to resist fade slightly better when getting hot with repeated hard stops. Although…..This is my wifes car and she made the comment recently that they seem to stop not as fast. I think she uses a lot less pressure when stopping than I do. I usually drive a sports car and am a little more aggressive in driving style than my wife.

I will take her car out soon and do another check on the brakes when I get a chance and will update the review if I feel anything different.

I’d recommend these as I liked the better feel to the brakes, under hard braking it just seemed to grab better. It was always very hard to get the factory brakes to grip strong enough under hard braking to activate the abs. Just the fact that I can do this with the EBC Greens tells me that they have a better grip.

I am giving -1 star just because of the comment my wife made to me.

Warranty is the worst I have seen on any brake pad I have ever bought. You have to take your receipt to a independent mechanic and they have to mark the mileage of your brake pads on the day they were installed, if you should need to submit a claim it must be within 12 months and 10k miles, and an independent mechanic must sign off on it a second time! Who in their right mind would do such a thing, I have never heard of this in my life of car repair as a hobby. I mean if I bought from one of the local stores I would bring them in anytime in the lifetime of my car and they simply swap them out, I don’t even need a receipt.

This makes the warranty worthless, the cost of the mechanic to sign off on the brakes twice is more than the brakes x2, so this is all just a shell game.

I will likely complain to amazon as this is under no circumstance a lifetime warranty, and the hoops you would have to go through make it impossible to get anything, even a replacement set.

I purchased these brake pad to replace my old of a 2013 Honda CR-V LX. I did verify the series the numbers and everything adds up. I checked and rechecked the series. All indication points that it fit, however it is much smaller than the ones my car uses.
    Check picture attached.

I replaced the front and rear Honda OEM brake pads on my 2005 Element with these. I followed the recommended break in/bedding procedure to the best of my abilities and several hundred miles in these pads appear to have dramatically improved the response and stopping power of my brakes. Even without replacing the rotors I am very pleased with the improved stopping power the car now exhibits. I have yet to determine the brake dust production levels and life span but so far I’m pleased.

They were missing a small hole for the little spring

They lasted less than a year on my 2009 Honda Element. Apparently they are ridiculously soft and they leave a crazy amount of brake dust.

I bought these brake pads for my Honda CRV 2005 (RD5) model both front and rear. I’ve used a few aftermarket brands as well as for the majority of the time Honda OEM brake pads. These pads were to replace the Honda pads that was currently on which was audible enough to be heard from a considerable distance away.

Getting straight to the point, these pads have an insane amount of grip meaning the pads bite down on your brake drum and actually hold your vehicle. As soon as you put them on you wouldn’t get its incredible stopping power. You have to drive it for a couple hundred kilometers to brake or bead them in properly so hence they will feel a bit spongy initially so being cautious during this time period is greatly necessary. Avoid slamming the brakes hard instead brake slowly from a further distance.

When the brakes are set you will not be disappointed as the grip and bite is phenomenal.

There are two problems however, the first being the amount of brake dust is equally insane as in my entire rim was coated in the brakes black dust after driving practically staining the rim until it could be washed off. This by itself was a task as after a while it pretty much caked up and didn’t want to wash off easily. Using a strong degreasing agent made short work of it otherwise.
The second problem and probably my biggest gripe was the lifespan. It was way to short. It probably lasted less than one quarter of the time the original OEM pad lasted. I usually do drive my CRV a bit spirited which is why I didn’t give in mileage how long it lasted but compared to the OEM pad which withstands the same abuse this pad lasted again less than one quarter of the same time.

Overall it is a great pad for what it does performance braking but in terms of lifespan it falls short. So based on this it may or may not suit your needs so ultimately you decide whether you would favor performance above all or longevity.
