I am using Eastwood’s Rust Encapsulator to coat surface rust I can’t completely remove inside a classic car door skin to stop/slow the expansion of the rust. So far, it looks like its going to help. Easy to apply. One word of caution — the product separates into a heavy goop at the bottom of the can, with black liquid on top. Its is really difficult to mix by hand; fortunately, I have a paint shaker, which did a great job mixing the Encapsulator into a nice homogenous blend.

This stuff works just as I expected. The key to success is to shake the crap out of it before you open it. I literally shook the can for a good five minutes because I had read a review about how thin one person thought it was. It worked great for me.

Have used this product on a few different things and so far has worked very well. It dries faster than I thought it would, a little tacky when you are putting it on but works well even with a sponge brush. Not going to complain, it’s a little pricey but this stuff actually works.
