This is the best chrome cleaner that I have ever used.
Chrome wheels are difficult to keep clean. I have tried every single product available any my local Oreilly and Autozone stores. Every single product. I have had mixed results with other brands, but this brand works the best by far (and is cheaper than many others). I honestly couldn’t recommend it more.
As for the other reviews – yes, it is a caustic chemical. Read the directions and spray only on the chrome. The “foam” action is minimal and I wouldn’t describe it as a foaming product (like tire foam). If you miss-spray and get it on your car’s body or paint – its OK, just wipe it up with a towel right away. If you let it sit on painted surfaces it will cause problems of course, but there is plenty of time to clean up before doing any damage. I would recommend wearing safety glasses or goggles in case of splashing. I happened to get some in my eye earlier today actually (very small amount) and it stung, but there was no serious problem.
Once you spray this on, agitate it with a lug-nut brush or similar. I personally like to use a $1 kitchen / dish-washing brush (found at your local dollar store). They work perfect for this. Spray it on, agitate it, let sit for 30 seconds and then rinse off. Do one wheel at a time before moving on to the next. Do not let the chemical sit on the wheel for an extended period of time or allow it to dry on the wheel.
It is important to rinse it off or else it will leave a white residue. I got a 2-gallon garden sprayer (container + pump + spray wand) for $15 at my local hardware store to rinse with and it works perfect. I keep it in my trunk so that I can clean my wheels before a car wash and then rinse after. Once you rinse, make sure to pat-dry with a microfiber towel for optimal results.

been discontinued. I have contacted the seller for a refund because non of the spray bottles work at all, just a little spit drizzles out no spray. This has been the case with every bottle in the case so I tried it in a better quality spray bottle I bought at home depot and same thing, it foams up and no spray comes out. This product is the worst I have ever used. It contains 3 different Acids and not only did not clean my chrome wire wheels, it left a very stubborn chalky film on them that took me hours to get it off with Chrome cleaner and all kinds of brushes. This product also destroyed my rear windshield because I was trying to clean the chrome trim around it and it got over sprayed on the glass and totally etched it and I have to replace the windshield. Terrible stuff.
I have filed a claim for damages.
