Well my first review included good notes on this MAF sensor. It lasted about 3 or 4 drives where I no longer dealt with sputtering due to the original part. Today my check engine light came on and took it in to check the codes. This time the sensor code came up and even a new one that didn’t just 2 weeks before replacing. Did not work for me. Cannot recommend.

I wasn’t having any codes on my wife’s 2012 2.5 Fusion but it was acting a bit weird. A little diagnosing showed the MAF sensor was being a bit funky. I probably could have just cleaned it but I figured I’d give this a try.
In the pic, bottom is the OEM sensor and top is this unit. They look a bit different inside and that’s about it. This unit appears to be straight and true to the air flow path. No weird twists or bends. After installing it, the car ran as smooth as silk without the computer even doing a relearn. No more weird stumbles or anything.
We’ll see how it stands up to time but so far I’m very happy with this MAF sensor.

The sensor is for a Honda Accord, my mechanic was satisfied with the quality and ease of installation. Sorry I can’t describe in detail but my mechanic was happy and said this sensor would be helpful in detecting the proper gas flow and thus critical with engine functionality. I will take his word!
