Very surprised on how good the quality is for the price point. Extremely easy to set up the home base and the camera installation is a breeze with gutter mounts purchased separately –
One of the best wet waxes on the market. Truely underrated and very good value. Leaves a very deep gloss and shine.

The ratings are true. Best car wax product I’ve ever used – period! Just did my first complete machine compound, polish, and wax on my Pitch Black 2015 Dodge Charger SRT392. Setting: nice cool underground parking garage with no direct sunlight, but open to sunlight and light breeze. 80′ day, low humidity, perfect conditions. Chose Meguiar’s Ultimate Compound and Polish for no particular reason, other than they’re a reputable name brand. So far so good. When it finally came time to wax I had three products on hand; Meguiar’s Ultimate Wax, Optimum Spray Wax, and the Duragloss 951. Tried a panel with the Meguiar’s first. Decent gloss with just a slight tendency to streak. Tedious to apply and took a fair amount of elbow grease to buff out. Next, tried some Optimum. A streaky mess right from the start that never really buffed out. Finally the Duragloss. Effortless application and buffing with a single towel, NO waxy buildup on anything, and BY FAR the best shine of the three. Quickly went over the Optimum area and removed all the streaks and improved the shine. Followed suit on the Meguiar’s area and never looked back. Took 10 minutes to finish the entire car. Even used it to clean up wax and polish over spray on the windows and they too are now flawless.
So, dumb s*** that I am, I managed to drop the bottle and break the spray nozzle while marveling at the wonders of this product. No problemo! I dumped the remaining Optimum Spray Wax out of its bottle and refilled it with this, marking it accordingly so I don’t confuse it with the other stuff. Next project, order 6 more bottles of this stuff after I finish this review.
Finally, durability is usually a crucial factor for car wax products as well, and admittedly, I haven’t yet had a chance to assess that yet, although I must add that nothing else I’ve used so far that promised once a year durability has ever delivered either. But I have to say, even if I have to reapply this product every time I wash/wipe (I wipe with ONR regularly as well) the car as the instructions recommend, that’s a trade off I’m COMPLETELY willing to make. Duragloss 951 is that easy to use and delivers that good of shine!

Made my mustang extra shining

This is without doubt, a superb spray wax that just delivers on every level. Trigger is easy to use, giving a nice wide spray with just a little bit of pressure applied. I have found that one spray of this per panel is sufficient to achieve a lovely shine and it spreads so easily and just blends into the paintwork as you go along. You get what you pay for and this is definitely one of best I have tried. Is it worth the money? Absolutely! This is a premium spray wax that leaves the paintwork gleaming and very slippery which is what we all want from this type of product. This rivals the likes of zaino z6, meguiars & Optimum in my opinion.

About 3 years ago, I decided to test multiple car care products so that I could identify my favorite in each category (traditional wax, spray wax, spray detailer, interior dressing, tire dressing, etc.). I wanted to simplify and standardize so that I didn’t have to spend any extra time shopping or researching (what can I say, I’m a car guy and an engineer). I tested pretty much every spray wax available on Amazon ( Mothers, Maguiars, 3M, Lucas, Zymol, Eagle 1, Turtle Wax, Migliore, Chemical Guys, Griot’s, Surf City, 303 Products, the list goes on…) on multiple cars in my family (Toyota Camry, Subaru Impreza, Subaru Legacy, VW GTI, BMW 740, Acura RL, Infiniti G35). I tested during all 4 seasons in 2 states (California and Montana). My criteria for choosing my favorite product included shine, durability, and ease of application/removal. After testing all the aforementioned products, I’ve settled on the Duragloss 951 as the only spray wax I’ll purchase going forward. Lest you think I’m a shill for Duragloss, I’ve settled on products from other manufacturers in the other categories (303 Aerospace for interiors and Mothers Reflections for traditional wax). The 951 really shines (see what I did there?) on ease of application and removal. It sprays on evenly and wipes off easily without needing a lot of elbow grease. This is important because the more you have to rub the car to remove the product, the more likely you’ll accidentally put scratches in to the clear coat. It’s not that the 951 is miles ahead of the other products, as they are all generally good, it’s a matter of degrees but it is enough that I can observe a difference. In regards to shine, which let’s face it is the real reason car guys take the time to wax a car, the 951 leaves a very reflective and slippery surface. Bugs and dirt slide right off. For durability, the 951 is equal to the best of the rest of the breed, even in winter in Montana where the roads are salted and covered in dirt. In case you’re wondering about second place, I’d put the Surf City Barrier Reef and Turtle Wax Ice in a close second. The Barrier Reef product is excellent and leaves a very durable shine, but it is a thicker product that is prone to overspray. If you miss the overspray, it will dry into white spots that stand out. Because it is thicker, it is actually just a tad more durable and would be good if you wanted to protect rims from salt, but the extra work required to manage and clean the overspray makes it just a notch below the 951 overall. The Turtle Wax Ice is also good, but it doesn’t seem to remove as effortlessly as the 951. Bottom line, if you want to keep your daily drivers looking better than new and want a single product you can use on the entire exterior (paint, glass, plastic, chrome), just pick up the 951. Even better, you don’t have to spend the extra dollars on the “premium” products to get a superior result. About the only reason I can think of to test other products would be if you’re preparing an exotic for a Concours type judging event, but how many of us actually do that?

Great drying agent! No need to completely dry your vehicle after washing/rinsing [though I would drag a waffle-weave microfiber towel over flat areas with lots of standing water, like the vehicle roof]. Just a few light sprays of this Aquawax, followed by a quick wipe with some light buffing, and you’re left with an excellent, deep gloss.
No experience with the durability of this Aquawax. I been using one of Meguiar’s quick [or “Quik”] spray detailers or waxes after washing our fairly new Mazda, so the paint always has some sort of protection. For ease-of-use and the resulting appearance, it would be hard to beat Aquawax. Overspray onto glass or black plastic trim [the 2016 CX-5 has A LOT of black plastic trim] is no problem–wipes up cleanly, with no residue.
An excellent product at a good price–and it even has a nice scent.
