I should have bought these years ago. My tired old Tacoma’s suspension rides so much better after replacing the front strut/spring assembly and the rear shocks from this kit. I used a little soapy water to help the new rubber bushings slide on and then bolted them on.
I’ve only had them on a day but they seem to be performing well so far.

All was there and everything went together easy with no problems. So far, the shocks and struts are working well. Time will tell me the quality.

Update: Still working well and no sag on either side. 100% worth the money. If anyone has any trouble getting the front ones to fit in there, hit me up and I’ll try to walk you though what I did. It was so easy as soon as I figured out the way using another car jack.
Just threw these on my 2003 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner Quad Cab yesterday and so far love em. Ride is instantly better and the truck no longer rocks back and forth over everything. Gotta say the front ones took a bit of thought to get in place. I couldn’t push the upper arm down far enough to get the bottom mount to line up so had to take a small car jack and use that to separate the lower arm from the frame. That was so easy it should be in the instructions! I did however find the exact kit that came in much cheaper in a few other places online. The front set is not what you get and this same package can be found for $175 if you look around. The reason I went with this and Amazon as it’s advertised here as Amazon Prime but wasn’t shipped that way and I purchased with Prime in case they needed to be swapped out fast. So kinda defeated the purpose of Amazon Prime. I’ll update in 6 months with any changing results in performance

I recently purchased a ’99 Tacoma Prerunner with 140k miles and still on all factory suspension. The truck felt okay on smooth pavement, but any small bump or dip seemed to unsettle the entire truck and would sway side to side several times before back to a neutral position. Was going to buy Bilsteins but this set had such great reviews I figured I’d give it a shot. I’m glad I did. The front strut assembly is especially welcomed as I didn’t have to find my spring compressor to dismount the spring from the old shock and mount it on the new. Ride quality is excellent, the truck feels much better, more stable, all the good stuff.
I also installed the Fabtech add-a-leaf to the rear. The factory leaf springs were pretty flat and compressed far too much with relatively light loads. I wasn’t too keen on spending $400 or more for a set of OME leafs, but the add-a-leafs brought the rear of the truck back to factory height and stiffened the leaf pack up to a moderately firm but still comfortable level. All in all truck rides like it should now for a grand total of $250.

The items fit perfectly and took about an hour to install. Ride is much better, like a new truck.

So far so good. Will update if any issues.

Installed easily and wasn’t expensive, but the ride quality is rough. I found references in a couple of installation videos (these struts and shocks do not come with instructions) that there are a left and right side assembly, but this set does not differentiate. Also, strut assembly does not come with a lower bolt, so be careful when removing the old one so you can reuse it.
