Ass hat –
Product fit perfectly and works well. Could not find through dealer or local parts stores.
Dougiefresh –
Made of steel, not plastic….it is used to time sequence for sensor.

This bolts onto the drive stem (back in olden-days, where the distributor went) to secure the cam sensor pickup shaft from rotating while you reinstall the drive into your engine, to make sure you have the cam timing right for what the engine needs. It’s as simple a tool as it looks like in the pics, pretty easy to use, definitely worth its pricetag for the time it saves on a cam drive replacement job. It’s not a super-precise machined part, but is plenty good enough for holding things in place as they need to be. A worthwhile item to have in a Ford (Lincoln?) Mercury tech’s box, as big blue did put a lot of these sensors in and this tool covers a bunch of them.
