I couldn’t find a review for this product, so thought I would be the first.
Packing: The product arrives elegantly packaged within 3 boxes like a Russian nesting doll, two of which are cello wrapped. So after diligently revealing each layer, I was quite surprised to open the final small container and find the two bottles loose and rolling around like marbles in a shoebox. Recommend the vendor rethink this packaging. Also supplied with my kit were two large plush microfiber towels and a dual headed brush.
Application: Following the video directions, I first applied the spray cleaner and agitated with the dark bristles. In most cases the area to be cleaned was too tight, so I sprayed cleaner on the brush, not the wood. It worked ok like this. After blotting per directions, I brushed on the ceramic coating with the other brush end. It applies similar to a thin water seal product, and dries to a matte finish. The soft end of the brush felt to me stiffer than the cleaning end, but hardly any difference in the two. By the end of the application, much of the bristles had fallen out, and had to be wiped off the wood. There is no odor with either product.
Results: My two year old veneer wasn’t dirty, but seemed dry and had some rough grainy spots. The coating left the walnut maybe just a skosh darker, and appearing moisturized, like I would imagine it looked when new. I would recommend the product be applied when the vehicle is new, and it should help protect it from cleaners and oils.
Conclusion: The product is quite richly priced, but is easy to use and seems to work as promised. The brush supplied is not up to the task and didn’t last through one use. The two towels are great.
