Direct replacement with no modification needed. Could not get to the correct angle with my wrench- but read on a forum that autozone will rent tools- they had an actual “oxygen sensor wrench” which made the job take about 10 minutes. Only time will tell for reliability, but compared to the 250$ parts store prices, is worth the gamble.

Claimed to fit my Subaru Legacy but doesn’t and the window to return it has closed.
Emilio Juliano –
Unlike the description, this item doesn’t fit a 2011 Subaru Forester. Plug end doesn’t fit.

Hunted down the reason behind a p0420 code and finally settled on a faulty o2 sensor once this was installed. This got rid of the code instantly. This was at the beginning of November 2022. Now, March 2023, the code is returning. I have heard to put in an oem sensor as these cheap ones don’t last very long. This was a cheap way to find out that I had a faulty o2 sensor, but now I need to get a decent one.

O2 sensor read “Calibrating” for awhile. But I ran some carbon cleaner through with the gas. Then eventually the calibrating cleared. No, O2 code errors in my ECU, now.
Not sure if there was a quick way for the ECU to re-calibrate. Just glad I’ve avoided replacing the Catalytic converter since this is a 80K vehicle and should not be having any issues with the Catalytic Converter.
did this on a 2015 Subaru Impreza.

Mala inversión. Mecanico o técnico del auto prefiero usar otro. Este no es bueno. No podré usar en mi auto.
