Look for youtube install video. Not exactly easy, but not too difficult.

Perfect fit for my 07 Fusion. Not as easy to install as you might think. A local shop should do the install for much cheaper than a dealership if you’re not up for DIY.

2008 Ford Fusion. Rear driver side door. Good replacement for a failed factory actuator. The failed unit would no longer lock the door using internal lock switches or by key fob (manual operation unaffected). This Dorman part had fewer pins in the plug , but that doesn’t appear to have affected operation. Door ajar warning works. Internal and key fob actions work. Child protection works.
As far as installation goes, it was no simple task. It involved removing the inner door panel, removing the sound dampening plate, removing the auto window motor, removing the window from the mounting bracket, removing the door handle, and disconnecting several wire harnesses. If none of this scares you then you should be able to replace on your own without issue.

BMP –
1 Star because the product showed up broken.
The company was willing to send another but I returned the product because I couldnt wait any longer. I bought it locally from an auto parts store for more money.
Had I not tested this BEFORE install, I would have shut the door and not been able to open it again. The door actuation part was busted.
Pro:
Unable to find any because product was busted and it looked used
Cons:
Broken product.

The actuator has been working great. Make sure you block out about 2 hours to install.
