P. URBANO –
The product is wrong because the electric opening in the door is off by 1/8 or more. The actuator was installed by my mechanic, I paid him $50.00 to do it. It works but the design is off, after all screws were put on still now accurate. I would like a refund, faulty product.

Just like OEM, it fits and work perfectly . . . very reasonable priced.

Watched a YouTube video and was able to get this replaced in under an hour. Works great.

The install was smooth with a bit of fanagling to get the top rod on the unit to slide behind the window track. It does take a quarter counterclockwise turn, (passenger side replacement), while feeding the rod forward towards the door frame mounting position and then upward to by-pass the window rail. Once you get passed this obstacle, the rest is pretty much straight forward. Do not strip the 3 frame mount -#3 Philips head screws. They are torque tight. When they let go they spin out easily. I used a good sharp tipped #3 Phillips screw driver, (no previous blunting on the tip), it’s important in getting the door frame 3 bolts out. The #3 Phillips also had a hex shaft I put a crescent wrench onto so that while I applied force into the screw head I had my wife turn the crescent wrench and this worked well. Take your time. Keep the screwdriver straight while applying the two forces. The actuator did make a soft noise like a kitten meowing the first day and the meowing seemed to be getting less noticeable after several lock cycles. Hopefully this replacement lasts many years. It appears very identical in build to the OEM.

Installing them is a pain, but they work fine.
