Part was defective on arrival and didn’t receive all of the bolts and gaskets as the picture shows. The product looked like it had been used and returned before. However, I should have just sent the part back on inspection but didn’t which caused a Sunday to be a wash. I took the old EGR valve off which was a battle with the lower bolt on the valve. I put the Dorman part on and hooked everything up and started the car and the service light came on immediately. The code was P0403. I thought maybe I had done something wrong and inspected everything and made sure all of the bolts were tight. Everything checked ok with my work. So, I took the Dorman part off and put the old EGR valve back on and cleaned it well. Another hour or two I had the old part back on and the car started with no codes. I will never buy another Dorman part again and I will stick with the brand name such as Mopar when replacing parts.

Other than those stupid engineers putting 1 bolt where no man can go easily, the EGR valve fit like factory and my Magnum R/T Hemi runs as it should with no check engine light.
Josh –
Exact replacement for the stock part. no modifications needed and the gaskets are oem design and fit as well.

this new EGR valve wasnt even put together all the way! the top of it wasnt together because something more important must of came up. theres tabs on the top that are suppose to be bent down to hold the top on! then i started putting the bolts that came with it & ill be damned if one bolt didnt snap off with hardly any torque being put on it!! its supposedly a Dorman product.
