Dave E –
Purchased this kit to fix bad sender in aftermarket fuel pump assembly that was less than a year old. The kit worked great although the pump assembly was different than stock. Gauge works perfectly now.
Cbronson41 –
If you have a stock fuel pump this will work but if its been replaced it won’t. I was able to change out the components to use the old body with the new electronics. Otherwise this is the correct sensor. Good luck!
Fabian Rodriguez –
Did it fix it and Cheap
Cheyenne’s Dad –
works great. found a good internet video showing how to change it by jacking up one side of the bed. MUCH easier. I would recommend removing the left rear tire though and putting some wood blocks in there just in case!
Dan Hiebert –
Had a little trouble installing on fuel basket , had to unsnap the outer basket and move it about 1/2 inch then sender snapped into place . Re snapped the basket and all was well . Gas guage is finally accurate now.
Misael –
It has been two years since I installed this and has been working perfectly on my 2001 Silverado ever since.
Amazon Customer –
Works as it should
VANN D. PRESSLEY –
Installation was somewhat more difficult than I imagined
Hapigoluki –
This isn’t a project for a shade tree mechanic but once I got it installed it works great. PLEASE be sure to replace the fuel pump at the same time.
Debbie Graves –
Even though Amazon confirmed fir for a 2003 Silverado, it does not fit.
