This sensor failed after 3 months and 4 thousand miles. The original lasted 13 years and 136k miles. I expected a better part from Dorman.
Landjd –
Fit great, easy to install, works like a charm so far.

I wouldn’t suggest getting this part. I have a 2010 Jeep wrangler and this sensor was supposed to help all of my problems but it did the exact opposite, even started making my jeep misfire. Go to a dealership and buy it there, do not buy this one.

After getting the p0344 code and low voltage code I decided to replace this sensor. Still had same codes, chased grounds and checked wiring/sensors for a week. Checked this sensor again and noticed voltage wouldn’t hold, went to Napa and bought a better quality sensor. All works great now

Right part and quick

The old one I thought was creating the code, but after I put this one in I had another code specific to the cam sensor. So I took it to the dealer after chasing ghosts the last two months and they told me my CPU was bad…and the new cam sensor. I cant believe I got a bad Dorman product. The annoying thing is I CAN’T TALK TO ANYONE ABOUT IT…so this is the best thing I seem to be able to do. I think this is the despair the internet gives you accepting faulty parts as the new normal and have to pay for another one, when the first one was the problem because there is no one you can tell in this non-storefront abnormal world.
