It fit the Ford regulator however when I pushed it into place, two of the connectors were loose came out of the plug. I adjusted the tabs and inserted the connectors back into the plug. It installed properly the second time and is working fine.

My stock harness leading to the short circuit regulator had corroded and deteriorated over the years. This was a simple, perfect match and an easy repair.

This works like the OEM plug, which isn’t all that great. The design is flimsy, and the wires are not protected – that’s the way it was made in the 80’s. Still, 5 stars because it works like the original.
I used this on an external regulator on an 89 Ford diesel.

It will solve your wiring harness needs. But I am having a difficult time keeping it from coming unplugged while I am driving. The harness doesn’t “click ” into place like most harnesses. It works but i would really recommend you try to find a different supplier. Just my humble opinion

It does not lock on like the factory connection, but that is no longer available anywhere, tho this says it does not fit I can confirm it does, just set aside the wires you are not going to be using.
