This works just as well as the original FORD part the car came with. It’s a shame that Ford no longer stocks the item. If you order from an online Ford OEM shop, or Ford Online Dealership, they will cancel the item and tell you it’s NLA (No Longer Available) and that you should check with your local dealership. Well, duhhhh!!, if my local dealership had it, I wouldn’t be online searching for it!!! Sometimes the dealership parts people can be quite obtuse although I’m sure they’re trying to be routinely helpful…lol
Anyway, this item is of the same quality as the FORD piece, same material, same specs, same everything, only it costs much less here on Amazon for this aftermarket part. I picked it up for $6.99 w/ free S/H.
Hopefully, I’ll get back to you, and update you guys, in 23-24 years or so on this item, as I expect it to last as long as the original Ford part did!! ;)) Cheers!
