I have a 12 year old car and I’ve had to replace the window regulator and motor a few times. It has cost me an average of about $250-300 each time. The two back windows stopped working a few months ago and I had been dreading fixing them. I called a couple shops and got an estimate- again each window averaged $260 for a total of $520. I wasn’t looking forward to spending that much money to fix windows on an old car 🙁
I read reviews and I got the parts from Amazon for a grand total of $110.00. Parts were delivered quickly. I found a guy on Craigslist who installed them both for $70.00. Total cost of $180, total savings of $340.00. Thank you Amazon. Parts work great and the dogs are happily sticking their heads out of the windows now 🙂

I was once again impressed at how fast I received this item and it to was a perfect fit. This was my second window regulator but for another window. Seems the factory part has plastic parts that wear and break easily. I love Amazon, I’m able to find everything I want. i got introduced to Amazon by my Boss and havent stopped shopping on it yet. When it comes to car parts I look for this merchant first and I’m always recogmending Amazon to other friends.I shop Amazon first when I know what I’m looking for and I generally find it. Thank you Amazon for great service and great merchants.I just wish the shipping charges were uniformed. Sometimes the shipping can cost 3-5x’s more than the item itself.

Until the test of time sets in, I don’t see any reason to give anything less than 5 stars. Practically identical to the OEM ones I replaced. I tested it installed as is with the Dorman included motor on one side, and then swapped out the motor to use the OEM stock Bosch motor and the speed was nearly the same. Maybe a fraction of a sec slower. So I went ahead and swapped out the Dorman included motors for my stock 14 year old OEM bosch motors. But honestly with my initial test, that isn’t really needed.
As is, they work great, no alignment issues compared to the OEM. Motor mount is the same so you can swap motors if you like. Plastic looks the same so your luck with that should be similar. Speed about the same. Stock wire connector is the same, no alterations needed.
So 5 stars until time proves otherwise. Both sides failed within 6 weeks for me on my 14 year old car that was with the stock original parts before the white plastic gave way. Wish that part was metal.

So both my back rear power windows stopped working, i assumed it was the window regulator due to a friend who had auto knowledge. So i called the repair shop to inquire how much it would be for part and labor to repair these both. They told me each one would cost $302.00 to repair, so $604.00 for both parts and labor. I was like holy crap im not paying that. So i went to youtube and watched some videos about installing these window regulators myself, since i figured if a mechanic can do it, i can do it. So with very little knowledge i replaced both back window regulators, was fairly simple with minimal tools, a socket set and a screwdriver is all you need. The install was cake and both regulators only cost me about $130. I recommend anyone to do this yourself, screw the repair shops who try to rip you off for such an easy job, only took me about an hour and half per window, and im sure someone who knows what they are doing could do it in much less time.

I have to admit that i was a little hesitant with the thought of buying an automobile part through amazon. But the price was more than half of what everywhere else in town was quoting it for, so i decided to give it a try. And to my surprise, the item came in a very timely manner, and was packaged very well, and lastly and most importantly they sent the correct part which i’ve installed since and it works like a charm.. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to replace their regulator.. Great job Amazon!!!

Great Product, Very Easy Installation, use phillips head screwdriver to remove the rear driver door panel. unclip the wiring harness from the motor. use a socket wrench to remove factory motor. replace factory motor/regulator with this product and re-bolt and re-attache wiring harness. then your good to go. about a 5 minute installation. i recommend this product to everyone who needs to replace their factory piece. i would purchase this again. … THUMBS UP!!!

Spend a little more money on this, and you will get a fantastic product! The metal is like the OEM. The “up actuation” is a tad slower, but it’s not really a big deal for a 13 year old grocery getter. Don’t forget that power windows move faster when the engine is running, and use a little white grease on the tract guide and cables. There are PLENTY of youtube videos to help you, and I HIGHLY suggest you watch them in the run up to wrench day.
