My driver’s side cable broke so I bought this one.
I believe I read where a dealership would charge an average of $400 to replace this plus parts.
The boyfrin did it in about an hour, the only tricky part was getting the window itself out .
It comes with the bolts you’ll need to replace the factory rivots.
Very easy to do, if you’re not sure how, there’s plenty of YouTube videos to help you.

This was a perfect fit for 2006 Town Car. It replaced the old one and came with hardware! I would highly recommend it! Hard part is getting old one out…….haha.

Better then I expected…it came with the screws to bolt the motor to the door and the screws to bolt the window up…Everything was good until I rolled the window up…the window tilts and gets stuck…I tried to fix it but the white plastic piece on the track is loose. So you have to take your hand and pull the window to get it straight and push the up button at the same time. Crazy I know lol.

Hello, I bought a regulator from carid and it failed after a month. I contacted them; and they do offer replacement warranty , but with the work involved who wants to take a chance of another failure. I bought this Dorman product instead , they are around the same price. The Carid part mounted to existing bracket , whereas the Dorman required that I drilled out more rivets (bracket) to mount the entire bracket assembly. My vehicle 2007 towncar. I’d by the Dorman part again. It sonly been a month so far, but the motor sounds better and the window is operating smoother then the carid part. Note the rive ts are a pian to drill out – I had to buy high end bits to get through the material.

The old regulator has seven rivits that must be ground off with a die grinder. But, one that part is done it’s smooth sailing.
This is a well designed aftermarket unit.
