Used on a 2003 Ford Sport trac. Works well. Better have a powered rivet gun to pill 1/4″ rivets. The regulator’s base, only 2 of 3 holes lined up

Don’t bother with one of the cheaper brands. You’ll end up doing the job twice.

This is a nice, inexpensive lifter. This one had a manufacturing mistake, and perhaps more do, too. The slider that glides inside the upper track (which attaches to the window to lift it) was crimped tightly by the crimping at the end of the track closest to the door jam. In the 1997 Explorer, both gliders need to be free to move anywhere in the track, but this one was clamped inside he crimp. Since I did not know this until I installed it, I did not have time to wait for a new shipment, so I uncrimped the end of the track, and set it free, myself. It works fine now.

Yippee! it works!! this product was installed when received and is working. what more can I ask of any product.

Installed easily and worked for about 2 weeks. Then, the top slider with the flimsy plastic sliders came loose and now it no longer works and will have to attempt to reattach the plunger in the plastic or return it.

Received defective due to sloppy manufacturing and no quality control. Spent over an hour taking it apart so I could re-assemble correctly.
If you have a NAPA parts nearby you might want to order their version. It will cost more but you can check to see if all the nylon sliders are free to move or if they are crimped into the frame rail. If so you can just return it right then and order another one – before you get half way into your project before you discover the problem.

It was just the right part for my son’s car.
It came right when I asked for it.
My son is very happy.

Product is in and working only problem I came across others seamed to have too where they crimped the plastic sliders in place and you have to bend the slider out from under the crimp, I feel like you shouldn’t have to do this but other then that works fine
