I have had the “good fortune” of being allowed to replace this part on my wife’s son’s 1995 BMW and two weeks later on my wife’s daughter’s 2001 Mazda. Both parts were a perfect fit and simple enough to install. The construction of the one for the BMW was heftier than that for the Mazda. I would only use the DORMAN brand if at all possible (though I would use none at all if THAT were possible)
