Works great, instructions on the Dorman website are pretty good and include pictures, the ones that come with it don’t. Hardest part was getting the bolts and speaker and the panel off the door, actually installing it was very simple. I’m not a car guy, i’ve only changed my oil and air filters, things like that and this was pretty easy for me, just took a couple hours. This product makes the window go up and down faster and more confident than the original ones on the rest of the truck. Only thing was that it was missing the center bolt but I just used the one from the broken one. The broken regulator was clearly broken because all the cabling was messed up and flopping around. Saved hundreds!

easy to install with help of you tube video on door panel removal. had a little trouble lining up the bolt that secures the motor to the door panel. Note: you will need a 5.5 mm or 7/32 socket for one of the bolts on the panel, thanks for that Ford. time will tell how durable the motor is especially with the added tension on the motor with the slightly misaligned bolt, but that may have been my fault.

I installed this on a 2005 Ford F-150 driver window. This is a pretty common failure. If you have tools and can do basic maintenance this is not too difficult. I also watched several YouTube videos and some of the suggestions were spot on.
