Needed to replace the output shaft on my 263xhd transfer case after changing the bushing. Went in with no issues or leaks. If your seal is leaking due to excessive slop on the output shaft would reccomend replacing the bushing, output shaft and seal.

It looks good quality but does not fit a Chevy 2500hd with a 6.0/4l80e/np261hd.
I believe this one is for the duramax with the 261xhd

Purchased a new rear housing to go with this part,..Within 50 ,miles the “Nickel” coasting and the bearing in the new housing began to gall together. Upon inspection I found that the nickel coating was coming off the yoke and both the bearing in the new housing and the yoke are ruined. I replaced the yoke and the bearing in the housing with OEM parts. No more problems, but the transfer case had to be taken back apart to replace the yoke support bearing, What a pain, I had to do this job twice and for $200 additional cost in replacement parts. The nickel coating sounds good, but cost me a lot of extra expense and work.
