I purchased the exhaust manifold because I generally have a good experience with Dorman parts.
When I received the manifold, it had a large factory defective crack in the casting near the exhaust port.
I sent it back and ordered a replacement.
The mating surface of the replacement manifold had so many chips all over the mating surface to the cylinder head. I ended up sending that one back too.

Replaced a cracked manifold on Chevrolet Monte Carlo and replacement worked perfectly. It was new with all the gaskets, which made the job easier than repairing the old one and placing back on the engine.

First overall appearance it looks good, BUT when really looking this appears to been a remanufactured manifold and Not new as described.. on the outter side right above the clamp where the manifold and exhaust pipe connect looked like a square patch of metal was placed to fix a hole. It appeared they grinded and smoothed the outside but wasn’t clearly a great job that I noticed and the inside clearly had signs of welding just because it was not clean, it looked like little ball bearing size welding spots splattered on the patch side only. OVERALL it works fine so I guess I’m satisfied ..but the product didn’t look remanufactured I would give 5 stars
