Look! a UFO! –
This kit was incomplete when it arrived. I realize I could have returned but didn’t have the time to return and get a replacement for the entire thing. Amazon does not do partial returns so I just bought the exhaust to manifold gasket and all of the bolts.
Additionally the exhaust manifold is not well designed. The heat shield is misshaped to the point where you have to severely improvise to get the bolts in.
As a side note the doorman exhaust flange stud/nut combo (Part 03104) does not have a long enough thread in the middle. The result was a stripped nut on all three. A lock washer fixed the issue, but it was much extra work once we figured it out. Fortunately I bought these at a local parts store and replacements were fairly easy.
This should have been a 2-3 hour project but due to the above spanned maybe a month of on and off working, buying and improvising. Have had good luck with Doorman products in the past on window regulators and such, but this was awful. Glad to be rid of this car, and moving on.
