I used this to replace a side marker socket on a 2001 Jaguar XK8. Amazon said it wouldn’t fit. it was not the exact same part but it was very close. It plugged into the wiring harness no problem. and the bulb fit no problem. The only modification I had to make was to the outside of the cylinder. the tabs that fit in the notched hole of the marker housing on the jaguar have a large and small notch and then you rotate to lock it in. This harness has two large tabs. So I trimmed one and then it fit. All lights working again. Cheap and easy solution.

Good fitment, great replacement for the worn out original sockets on my 2004 F350 fender flare clearance lights. Just be careful not to break the connectors swapping them unless you’re replacing those, too.

I was using this in the rear side marker position on a 2008 Ford F350 dually. It works, it fits, but only if you’re using incandescent bulbs. LED “bulbs” are a bit taller, a bit longer. That, combined with the longer socket, causes the bulb to bottom out and the socket can’t be seated. The original socket is shorter.
