    2001 F150 SuperCrew 5.4 with 275,000 miles.

This fit my pickup truck perfectly. It was pretty much like a plug-and-play. I did not need to adjust anything. I removed the old one, and installed this one in minutes.

It is really not an exact fit. After reading the other reviews I was nervous about it not fitting. It was kind of close , still had to bend it a bit to make it fit. I am an A.S.E. tech and still had to put too much effort into installation.

  3. Amazon Customer

Was all bent and broke looked like it was ran over.

  4. Dan

Some adjustment required, but flange nut works great. My old one was so corroded after header swap I couldn’t tighten down to make a good deal. This fixed issue

other then that it work good

Ideal replacement. It’s always a pleasure when replacement parts fit exactly as those that they replace. Looking for another 10 years.

Great price, works as it should. Ordered this part with Dorman Manifolds and SS manifold studs for my 2002 Ford F150 4×4 5.4L SuperCrew. It’s a good idea to change the EGR tube while replacing the manifolds because it’s right there. Even saved a few bucks ordering from Amazon instead of (Rockauto). Rockauto at the com is a great site to save money on parts but Amazon beat them this time.

Used this on a 2002 Ford F-150 (four door) Crew Cab King Ranch 4×4 v8 5.4L

Perfect fit. Installation tip – kelp everything loose until you get all threads going. Even the manifold connector which I replaced at the same time. Just get all the threads going and then snug everything down.

It isn’t that hard to bend a pipe. It isn’t that hard to weld two pieces of metal together. It really isnt. Next time I might even do this myself because I think I could do better than the amateur work done on this.

The welds look just awful. Like someone just held the welder there and let it go while they went to the bathroom or something. Slag and popcorn everywhere.

The shape of the tube doesn’t perfectly match OEM and required some serious bending to get it to fit. At first glance it looks right, but when you try to install it, you will find that it doesn’t mate to the two surfaces.

After some bending and grinding off the shoddy weld work, I painted the pipe with high temperature to prevent some exterior rust. I had to weld a bead on myself because the popcorn welds were so bad that they leaked air between the beads…

I finally muscled it in there. I’ve done these egr tube replacements before and never had this much trouble.

I’d ask for a refund but I need the truck running so I powered through the job despite the poor craftsmanship of this pipe.

Buyer beware. Next time, I’ll either make it myself or buy OEM at their premium price.
