Gregory M. Spitzer –
Exactly what I was looking for. Seems very well made for the price.

I bought this item to add a choke cable to my riding mower after replacing the previous, auto-choke engine with one having a manual choke.
I was easily able to trim both the inner cable and the outer sheath to the required length, run the cable under the hood, and install the “plunger” end via a small hole in the plastic “dashboard”.
The inner cable is easy to pull in and is rigid enough to push out, making it operate well in either direction.
Johny –
A bit on the light duty side but seems to be holding up.
Steven –
Kind of cheap made but it worked for my application
Agent J –
Used as a choke cable for a 65 Falcon. Appears sturdy enough for prolonged use. Cuts easily. Long enough for most cases.

I bought this as a rear hatch release for my Honda Element. At the end, it worked great. Strong enough release the door hatch. After installing it, this is why I might go with something else. The cable inside is solid metal, not braided like a bike cable. This means its stiffer and doesn’t flex easily. It holds its shape. This creates more resistance especially if you have a bend. I greased it up a lot, but the resistance is felt. Getting a pull with a braided cable would not only be strong but pull so much nicer. Otherwise, it works.

Just as showed works nice
Steven Greene –
The product I received was perfect. It replaced my original choke cable on my 1968 sears suburban 12 and look like the old one. Thank you. I will buy this product again.
Wiggie –
This works as expected and is a quality item.
