This cap does not fit the original equipment recovery container on a 2004 Dodge Stratus. It is made for the Dorman replacement unit

My only problem was that we could not get the cap onto the reservoir tank. My daughter, who is only 17, finally got the smart idea to remove the washer/o-ring out of the cap top. Once we removed that, the cap went right on with no problem. Other than that, it’s an excellent product.

The replacement that came in the mail looks different than the one shown in picture. It looks a lot cheaper and has Chinese writing on it.
I had to take the rubber piece out from inside of the cap to make it fit. I also had to replace the stock hose from the old cap with a smaller hose to fit this one.

Perfect fit. Gave it a try on my old 03 Toyota Highlander. Guess what it works!!! Saved me like $40+.

It’s listed as the right part on just about every outlet on the web and physical auto parts stores. This is not the part. It does not fit the vehicle. If you want the proper part, go to the dealer and pay full price.

Didn’t fit 99 Sebring convertible as advertised.
