Very specific Amazon search for auto parts including year, make, model, and part name. Two responses from Dorman Products were returned with a specific “1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ windshield wiper linkage bushings” search parameter. Ordered the product that was the most expensive, figuring it must be better quality. Did not fit at all. Ordered the other less expensive product, which has not yet arrived because I called Dorman directly to see if there might be any installation instruction that I might have overlooked. Tech Support informed me that what I ordered and received would not fit, and that what I subsequently ordered and have NOT yet received would not work either…… and indeed that Dorman has nothing that would fit a 1993 Jeep Wrangler YJ windshield wiper linkage bushing category. Both products came up with a specific search; neither product fits; and no such product apparently exists with this company. Searched harder and ordered a third try, and will be returning the second order yet to arrive, and wouldn’t mind credit for the first order received under what sure looks like false advertising to me. Unfortunately closes the door on Dorman for me. In fairness, the rather firm response from Dorman tech support pointed out the fine print on the site…. and that with a click might have informed me that the product would not fit the intended application. So the additional observation is why would this product come up in a very specific search and then have hidden response fine print saying it won’t work for that very specific search. Just sayin.
