Opened the box. Installed it the right way-we had it backwards at first, there’s a triangular piece that only fits one way-and we’re done!

Really should have been shipped in a box , arrived bent , warped out of round , and pinched . Had to straighten out the whole clamp quite a bit . The clamp was well made , but needed to be shipped in box to make the trip to avoid damage . Spent 10 minutes with pliers to straighten out to install , good part works fine .

This is an easy one, bracket hold the air filter assembly together. You remove bracket, separate the air filter halves, remove old filter, replace with new filter, aline the two housing halves, hold them together, slip bracket around housing, mate the 2 ends of the bracket and secure the 2 ends with the attached clasp……old bracket was 19 years old. Took all of maybe 20 minutes, I cleaned the housing inside and out, otherwise maybe 10 minutes.
Now for the good part….
Bracket from Amazon was……$17.13.
Bracket from my local FORD dealer….Guaranteed to rip you off, come on guess….was $67.23
