Dorman is well known and highly respected for their products. This specific oil pan does not fit a 454 Chevy block. The bolt patterns do not line up and there is just no way to force or retro fit. It has to be returned.

Ordered even after reading the reviews hoping I’d have different results, not so lucky. Nothing lined up at all . Piece of garbage can’t believe doorman is selling these piles of ****. Do not buy

Dipstick tube doesn’t fit. Purchased a Dorman replacement dipstick tube and even that one doesn’t fit tube outlet of pan. Other than the fact I can’t use it. It’s a great pan. LOL. I am a dorman fan but this product has an error.

arrived damaged at pan rail, box was destroyed. I will just fix it rather than send back. Also leaks from where triangle was welded for dipstick.
