Increased my horsepower and I get 4 MORE MILES PER GALLON ! It’s a win win! You never need to buy another filter for your car or truck. Just clean it every oil change which is excessive but keeps my V-8 breathing like a monster! I even installed one on my daughters little turbo car and it’s faster and also gets better fuel economy! I’m not even sure if her car uses gas anymore!😂

This filter already wins because it’s washable, so even though it might cost 3x the Fram replacements but you also don’t ever have to run to the parts store for a new filter either. There is a slight performance increase but nothing extreme, just seems like the engine is more eager and responsive but I’m prepared for that to be a placebo effect from expecting a difference.
Overall, even if there wasn’t a performance increase, I would recommend this filter to all Sonic owners with the factory air box.

Direct replacement for my Sonic. Cleanable and reusable. Time and miles will tell how it holds up, but initially, it’s a winner.

I put around 20000km on it so far and check but still doesn’t need to clean.

Good quality Inexpensive dry filter looks similar to K&N and cost less than the original.
