Would’ve given it a 5 star rating, but I didn’t realize it was coming with a plastic gear instead of a metal one. It did however come with two extra gears in case it broke. But that just means it is doomed to fail sooner or later.

This starter fixed my mower and it worked great…for four months. Now the bendix doesn’t want to raise by itself no matter how many times I remove the entire starter assembly and clean it.

Ordered it, and it installed perfectly. But the starter was not my problem. The solenoid was. Order a solenoid along with a starter when your starter “clicks” when you try to start it. Solenoid seemed good, but was not
