Pros: They are pretty.
Cons: They are small, don’t absorb water, pill and pick up every hair and thread in the wash and snag on my sensitive dry skin…
I really like the color but these are probably best as decoration only. It’s been hard to find a purple towel that matches my kitchen so I got really excited to buy these. They are awful for actually drying things. I am a stay-at-home mom to small kids so I constantly wash my hands. Which means they dry out and crack in the winter no matter how many products I use… and then the dry skin sticks to these towels. That feeling makes my skin crawl. I tried to use these for setting things i need to dry on the counter. But because they don’t absorb moisture they even do a poor job at that. They are soft; but essentially useless. I got the coordinating washcloths in gray. They aren’t much better.

Every holiday I send dish towels to my sisters. For Valentine’s day, I just could not see paying 15 bucks for two tacky towels. Yes, I usually do send the traditional tacky towels, but I buy 2 for 15 and separate them. I was late this holiday, hit Amazon and didn’t have the luck of one for each girl. So then I typed in red and these adorable towels showed up. So each girl got a full set, not tacky and cheaper for big sis! Both girls have gotten them and say they are great. Great quality, true to color and get the job done.

These were adorable and look great in my kitchen, unfortunately, the absorbability is nil. They are very soft, don’t shrink when washed, and have wound up being more decorative and used as placemats rather than dish towels. Can’t really dry your hands on them either. However, they do shine up glassware nicely.

I purhased 3 sets of the dishtowels: 1 set in the black damask and the other 2 sets in the grey chevron design. Considering that these cost $6 for a set of 4 (or $1.40/towel) I shouldn’t have expected too much. However, I was a little disappointed at the size and thickness. I suppose I’m just used to my old ratty, but reliable dish towels, which are all much larger and thicker. It seems like linens are just getting cheaper nowadays.
The damask print is gorgeous and the cloth is very soft, absorbent, and dries quickly. One of the grey chevron prints is a little off (see picture). The designs are also only on one side of the towel, which seems a little strange to me.
The towels work great for their intended purpose of drying dishes. They buff out glasses and flatware very nicely (I have to do this in order to avoid waterspots thanks to hard Arizona tap water). The towels also work well on my granite countertops. When damp, I noticed that they take awhile to air dry.
In terms of quality, I’m not sure how long the towels will hold up. They made it through the first wash undamaged. I’ll provide an update if they get torn up quickly.

These are very absorbent and look very nice. Don’t seek the imitation brands, these are worth every dollar and washing machine safe. I have used them with great success in our home kitchen.
There are probably thousands of brands on the market but my family likes these so much I took the time to write a review and I would buy them again.
I suggest purchasing 2 sets and destroying the ones that your family passed on to you 10 years ago 🙂

I originally bought these for the design but I love them for cleaning and treating my granite countertops. They are just the right size for my hands, not so big and thick as to be “bunchy” and cumbersome but just thin enough to be pliable yet absorbent. They are good for cleaning and shining at the countertops at same time. Some microfiber towels react with my hands much like velcro, these don’t do that. And with purchase of 2nd 4-pak, always have plenty of clean ones available. I mentioned earlier that I bought them for the design, that’s because with the colors and stripes design, I’m trying to make it as difficult as possible for my husband to continue to confuse my towels with his green/blue/yellow/orange vehicle/car cleaning garage rags. So far, so good.

Not happy with how the dish rag absorbs. I’ve washed several times and the clothes don’t do well absorbing liquid. Always have to use paper towels to finish cleaning.
