This seems like a nice idea, especially for a RV or other vehicle that may not be used every day, or is stored where pests can be a problem. I’ll be adding this to my RV engine compartment, where there is some previous signs of damage that have been repaired.
The first unit didn’t work at all, but a replacement was quickly sent and this one works. On low, you can’t really hear anything but you can see a light flashing. On high, you hear a really high pitched noise that goes in and out, which is quite distracting. Hopefully I won’t need this to be on high, but we’ll see how well it does on low. I’ll also be tracking durability and battery drain (seems really low in my testing) over time, so I’ll be sure to update this review if needed.
This is a 12 volt unit, so make sure the vehicle you are using it is a 12 volt system.
Overall, if you are having an issue with pests in your car or engine compartment, I’d recommend giving this a try!

I’ve had this repeller in my car for about four weeks now, and it is still doing the trick! Installation was a snap, connected to the battery and I’m good to go.is very comforting knowing it’s working, especially with such weather-proof and heat-resistant gear. And the battery will shut off automatically if it is dangerously low, so no worries! This little guy delivers on the promise!

Did not work well in my application. but it might work well in your application. We wanted this device to keep the squirrels away. They had caused damage to a pickup truck that had been stored for months next to my house. I wanted to keep that from happening to a camping trailer and a small car as well. The key to a correct application is battery life.
For the camping trailer, battery life without this Ultrasonic Repeller was not great. Adding this to a system that was starved for battery power was a bad idea. It just drained the battery faster. We added a battery kill switch for storage and we got much better life but the things we hung directly on the battery brought the battery down in a couple of months anyway.
As for the car application, the battery life while being stored was not great in the first place. I could not easily add a battery kill switch to my car. I had to add a battery maintainer device to be able to store the car for more than a month. The Rodent Repeller was not a significant factor in battery life after the maintainer was added.
In both the camper and the car, we eventually went to scent sachets as our primary defense because we changed them out at the start of the storage season and did not worry for the months of storage. When we were trying out the Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller we had no rodent infestation, so they appear to work. Our problem was only the battery life issue.
It’s hard for me to say that the ultrasonics were actually working. My old ears are none that good with high pitched sounds. My solution for testing the ultrasonics was to employ grandkids. They correctly said when they could hear the ultrasonic sound when the unit was turned on.
Overall, the performance of this unit met my expectations, but in the end, it was not for us.
