Ok
I read reviews and decided to make this purchase.
Mistake was that I believed some reviews. It is a good product HOWEVER it does not work for the ZUMO 395
The straps that hold it in are the issue as with it in the gps you cannot out ut in the zumo mount not room with the straps. I did however put it around the mount sort of and was able to lock the gos into its mount. I can’t turn it on or off without moving the strap to gain access to the button. I am now forced to either leave it in the bike when I stop or take it off and add extra time to putting it back on again. Not happy with this issue. The rest of this product looks good and good fit in the front of the gos and I believe it will help with the sun washing the screen out.
I may keep it and cut the straps and use 3M double sided tape (the good stuff)to affix it directly to the gps. I will ride with it on like this first to make sure it works with the sun and then if it does make the change.

The Bike Camera works great. I am very pleased with the product. Very easy to install and the monitor is very clear. Much better than using a mirror. I plan to buy another one.

Returned this, it covers too much of the small screen around the edges. Maybe I’m just too OCD, it makes it too hard to push buttons and map on the edges. Would probably work with a GPS that has a larger bezel. It did seem fairly strong and would definitely help with glare on the screen.

This is a perfect fit for the Garmin Zumo 395LM. I am able to remove the GPS unit from its mount without removing the sun shade. I don’t leave the GPS unit on the motorcycle when It is parked, so this is a big plus. The left strap covers most of the power button, but a light push of the stap to the right easily reveals the button for use. I can only comment on the fit of the sun shade right now. My first ride with it attached to the Garmin is coming up in a few days. If there is no follow up to this review after my 1,000 mile ride, then you will know that the sun shade worked as advertised and that I am fully pleased with it.

I recently bought the new motorcycle-specific Garmin Zumo 396 LMT-S GPS for my Kawasaki KLR650, and used it for a cross-country motorcycle trip this summer. I love the 396 unit, it worked great on my trip! My only issue was sun glare on the screen at certain times of the day. When I returned home, I searched for a sunshade visor for my 396 GPS, but had trouble finding anything for the 396 model. From the photos and description of this sunshade on Amazon, I was pretty sure it might work, so I took a chance and ordered it. I just got it today, and it fits my Garmin 396 motorcycle GPS unit fine. The sunshade itself sticks out farther than I expected, so it should provide lots of shade for the GPS. It is made of a hard plastic and has foam on bottom where it sits on the screen of the GPS. The two elastic straps that hold the sunscreen on are a little flimsy, and will probably stretch out over time, but I’m hoping they last a while. I think they will be easy to replace if they do stretch out. Overall I am very pleased with this sunscreen. (The picture I uploaded is the one that was posted on Amazon. It is not the new Garmin 396 GPS, it is an older model motorcycle GPS. But when I saw this picture on Amazon, I was pretty confident the shade would also fit on the new model 396 that I have)

This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one wore out after about three years when the straps on it loosened up. This one seems to be slightly better built and is strongly held in place. It works like a charm and for the low price it can be replaced every few years if needed.

GPS Sun Shade WORKS.
Intended use is for a 5-inch GPS that sets on your dashboard. Prevents sun shining through the windshield from washing out the screen. GPS Sunshade prevents that.
I used this to shade the screen on a 5-inch RV backup Camera Screen. So, it has multiple applications.
Packaging: Wrapped in manufactures labeled box. Appeared to be high quality. Nice packaging.
Fit: Perfect, even on a product it was not intended to fit.
Cons: None
Pros: Fits well. Works great. Easy to install using built in elastic straps. My four-year-old installed it.

This very simple item does wonders, especially when I use it on my bike which has no shaded protection. When the sun is right from behind, the screen is still exposed as always, but I would say that the screen is a lot more visible for at least 50% of the time. I also use my 396 in my car and there it works even better. I will buy it again.

Fits my Garmin perfectly. Simple and very effective. Perfect shade for clear view of the screen in bright sunlight. Excellent!
