The factory wire is 14 gauge, the black/white style aftermarket connectors wires are 14 gauge. This new connector with alternating different colors are only 18 gauge?? Why would they down grade the gauge wire on a part that burns out? And to top it off, the new connector doesn’t even have copper wires! Sending it back for sure.

The wire is thick and well built. If you have a ascender, trail blazer etc and your AC fan speed stops working then most likely the resister is bad or like mine, one out of the 7 pins was burnt. Strip and swap the wire and plug it back on the resistor, under the dash by the compartment. Very easy youtube it. Now all 5 speed on the front AC works perfectly.

Heavy duty wire & perfect fit. Doesn’t look exactly OEM but who cares?? It functions perfectly!
..not to mention, it was relatively inexpensive
