Up in the mountains about 2-3 hours from home, taking my sister belongings to her house. I pulled into a rest area in N.C. to get a drink and use the restroom. Turned my truck off (F250) and went to take a break. Came back and my truck wouldn’t start but I could hear a chattering sound under my hood. After spending my whole life doing electrical work I knew that sound, a relay. Feeling around under the hood I located this vacuum pump not even knowing what it was. Long story made short it was a relay inside the vacuum pump going bad. The truck finally started and I was on my way to what turned into a round trip. Dropped off my sisters goods and home I went never turning the truck off till I made it back home. I bought this pump and it was an exact fit and worked flawlessly so far… I’m happy….and now rested…lol

Have had this in my 2012 f550 6.7 for 2 years, still doing it’s job good, no codes, It also comes with lifetime warranty, so how can you go wrong…

Purchased and installed early December 2022. CEL came on after 4k miles at the end January 2023 . Contacted customer support and said they’re sorry and we’ll send a replacement. Here it is November 2024 and still waiting. I’m sure it’ll be any day now. Went with Motorcraft again. Expensive but, the last one made it 8 years.

Update to my update: The seller made good on the lifetime warranty and after being persistent they sent me a new kit. I think the first one should have lasted longer. It’s not a super difficult job replacing it, but it’s not a job just anyone should tackle, so that was a pretty big hassle, especially since the failed part is preventing the vehicle from passing smog and getting registered.
But bottom line: they honored their warranty. Back to 4 stars.
Update:
From 5 stars to 2. Should probably only give it 1. The part failed on me after about 1 year. MIL errors keep popping up. I have been clearing them and it stays off for a few weeks or months until recently. MIL is back on and clearing it is only good for a day or 2.
Contacted seller to honor the “lifetime warranty” Phone calls go to a g00gle number that appears to be monitored and doesn’t allow for messages. Amazon messages appear to be handled by a bot. I get the same reply each time I send a inquiry to the seller.
Many other reviews also indicate a short life span for this part.
I do not recommend this part, nor would I ever purchase anything from this the seller ever again.

Updated:
After about 3 weeks of use, the pump stopped working (AC vents stuck on defrost). I took the pump apart and cleaned the switch inside. Pump started working again but the back cover doesn’t seem to fit tightly.
Put it back in and the truck and AC vents work ok. Noticed that the pump didn’t shut off after 5 minutes of running, so I capped the inlet to rule out any leaks. Pump never shut off even with only itself for a vacuum chamber.
Decided to return this and go with Dorman pump. The Dorman shuts itself off in 3 seconds when it’s just the pump. Takes about a minute to shut itself off when connected to the full system.
Guess this product couldn’t pull a full vacuum at Denver’s altitude.

Product failed within six weeks. The company has failed since then. I have been waiting for a replacement under warranty since July 2024, this is now March 2025. I have been told everything from the part is on the way, to back ordered, to will be here in 3-4 weeks, to shipping delay etc. by someone named Jason MacCormick, probably AI. I believe this to be a fraud, at least the non-existent warranty anyway. Buyer beware.

My truck produced a check engine light (CEL). I checked the code with my hand held computer and discovered the pump in the DEF tank was bad. A fast and quick internet search stated I had to replace the whole tank as a unit as the pump was not replaceable. I searched Amazon for a complete tank unit . As I searched Amazon I saw the pump was sold by itself and fit my truck. I ordered it and installed it in about an hour without a problem. I have a dump bed on my F-450 so access to the pump was no problem. If you have a regular bed I would suggest removing the whole tank from the truck. The truck works fine and no CEL.
Note I had never made this repair on my vehicle before, so as a precaution I watch a video online that provided me with insight as to the little details that mattered and made this a successful install.

My 2013 F350 had a check engine light. Autozone was able to read the code as P20BA, referencing the Reductant Heater Control Circuit Performance. After some on-line research, I decided to purchase a DEF heater. The local Ford dealer wanted over $300 for a new one. I bought this particular heater. It comes with all the parts needed to replace the heater. Make sure you use the rubber O rings before you mount the pump. The large one fits in the heater. Place the small one on the pump, for a smoother installation. So far the check engine light has not returned.
