I bought two of these, one for a 2006 Toyota Tundra and another for a 2011 Subaru WRX STI, so I could update the stock bulbs with LEDs.

Installation: I recommend recording a video of the stock flasher before you remove it so you can reference how fast your stock one flashes at. They might be a little tricky to remove (in the case of the STI) but installation was easy once the old one is removed. Once plugged in, turn on your car and adjust the flasher speed. They were flashing quite fast out of the box and I had to turn them down to closely match my stock flashers.

Use: I think they’re a little quieter than the stock flashers. However, their purpose is to stop the hyper flashing with LED bulbs, which it does. It also has the 3-flash-to-pass function when you “tap” your turn signal, which is a nice addition.

Overall, if it fits your car, it’s a good purchase if you’re upgrading to LEDs and don’t want to deal with adding resistors.

    My Second Review on 07/31/23.

Recently I wrote a favorable review on this item, however I must reverse anything good I stated.

On July 30, 2023 I noticed while setting my alarm, my driver side light that usually flashes twice with the right side while setting the alarm flashed very weakly, and almost unnoticeable.

This caught my attention immediately, so I decided to check it out just a little bit more.

I turned on my hazard lights, and I noticed the same light bulb would blink three times and then flash almost unnoticeably, three or four times, before it flashed again, 2 to 3 times.

    The passenger side worked perfectly.

I immediately suspected the relay, since it was a malfunctioning of the system, rather than a faulty bulb.

I went to another vendor on Amazon, and purchased the same kind of relay, I installed it, and everything works perfectly.

The problem I have is that this relay that I purchased is already failing a very short time after I purchased it, all it does is control the hazard lights and blinkers and it illuminates the hyper flash that takes place with an analog relay and LED lights.

Needless to say, I was very pleased with its function until it malfunctioned.

Unfortunately, Toyota places the relay in an almost impossible location under the dashboard and it is extremely difficult to replace!

However, I did manage to get it out and I plugged it back in to make sure it was secure and the problem persisted.

That’s when I bought a new relay, it was delivered by Amazon the very next day.

Upon receipt I went through the painstaking process of getting the old one out and putting the new one in and everything works perfectly.

I’m not satisfied with theirs seller, and believe I should be refunded for the cost of their relay….

Works great no problems at all for my Lexus

I installed LED indicator bulbs on my 2006 Tacoma and had hyper-flashing with the stock flasher. I decided to try this because adding resistors to each bulb seemed like a lot of work. Install was fairly straightforward with the hardest part being getting the original one out. On my truck it was located on the back of the black fuse box under the dash on the driver’s side. It works exactly as described and allows for easy adjustment of the flasher speed. My only complaint with the flasher is that the plastic quality is a bit cheap and the clicking sound isn’t as pleasant as the original one. It sounds more hollow if that makes any sense. To help with this I had the idea of drilling a small hole into the housing and filling it with hot glue. It definitely helped to dampen the sound of the clicking. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the purchase and would definitely recommend it as an alternative to installing resistors if you switched to LEDs.

needed this when i installed LED bulbs for my turn signals. adjustable which is a nice feature. use it in my daily driver and hasn’t failed.

I found a helpful install tutorial on YouTube and the install only took about 30 minutes to finish.
The product was delivered on time and is OEM quality. My aftermarket headlights were hyper flashing and this fixed the problem easy and I love that I can adjust the speed.

Recently got myself a pair of Vland 2s for my Lexus IS250 09. Off the bat I was having irregular turn signals. Sometimes they were slow, sometimes they hyper flashed, sometimes they acted completely at stock speed.
Did some research and came across this product and immediately put my trust in YouTube and Reddit and got it. Needless to say it work’s flawless and stopped all the problems I had, it also gave the neat feature of being able to adjust the turn signal speed which was neat! Although the installation was a pain the ass but that isn’t the products fault since Lexus positioned the OEM device under the steering wheel.
In the end I get no hyperflashing or issues with my turn signals at all! Definitely worth the money and installation pain for this quick and permanent fix!

If you mod your oem turn signals to led ones, you need a flasher relay for led. If you are looking for a flasher relay for led, you must try this one. I refused to buy this item at the first sight because I thought it was ugly and not a perfect replacement of the oem one as they look quite different – the extra knob on this one made me feel weird. However, after the trials of the other two flasher relay of different brands from different sellers, as they both have different type of defects – delay turn-on, or extra opposite signals when the turn signal stick automatically returns to the original position, I finally realized it is the functionality but not the looking that is the most important for a car part, so I gave this one a try, and as the result you can expect, it works perfectly great! All the issues I had in the previous ones are gone! And you can even adjuat the speed of flashing by turning the “weird” knob as this changes the resistance of the circuit in the relay, amazing function! Highly recommend!

Works perfectly for my 2004 Toyota Corolla!
